Family homelessness is skyrocketing. That's why we're running, biking, and swimming to provide permanent housing to families in need.
All across America, low-income families are being forced into debt and, at times, homelessness because of unavoidable events: being laid-off at work, having a child get sick, or a car break down.
Did you know?
50% of America's shelter population is families
29% of homeless parents work for a living
1.6M kids experience homelessness each year
Every day, homeless families face obstacles that can set them back years, if not a lifetime.
This issue is so much more than just heartbreaking statistics—its heartbreaking stories of real families losing everything, even hope for a better future.
When a family loses their home, mom and dad lose their ability to maintain a job and the kids lose ground in school—sometimes dropping out altogether.
That’s why it’s so important that we band together, as athletes, to find families in need a safe place to call home, today.
